Drawing inspirations from architects, artists, industrial designers and professors from the 40s to 50s, the collection mixes modern details and manufacturing techniques to create new elements for the classic staples. Over a year in the making, the collection is made of quality materials such as titanium, 18 carat gold, platinum and the best Japanese acetate fiber. Through trial and error during the manufacturing process, they have truly expressed their will to create the perfect product. From the recent trunk show, the round metal and tortoise shell frames were the standout pieces from the presentation. Working with a streamlined aesthetic, the pieces feature cable temple ends and are complimented with genuine leather, and metal mesh side cups, altogether, showcasing Thom Browne’s unique approach in design. As a refreshing take on the realm of eyewear, each style in the collection is rounded off with the signature Thom Browne red, white and blue logo and four stripe hinge.
